The New Year was ushered in with prayers, reflection, and a renewed commitment to purposeful governance as the Edo State leadership participated in a crossover night service at Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Sapele Road, Benin City.Edo state
Attending the service alongside his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, the Governor described the gathering as a moment of gratitude and spiritual recommitment, dedicating the year 2026 to God while reaffirming the administration’s resolve to serve the people of Edo State with integrity, focus, and dedication.

As Edo State steps into 2026, the administration reiterated its commitment to the SHINE Agenda, with a focus on practical governance, inclusive development, and sustainable progress that directly improves the lives of citizens.
With optimism and a strong sense of purpose, the leadership expressed confidence that 2026 will be a year of consolidation, growth, and visible transformation for Edo State.
