The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Oma Life Rescue Foundation, Dr. Omanibe Umusalma Blessing Ameh Sanusi, has officially commissioned the Foundation’s Abuja Office at Melita Plaza, Garki, Abuja, marking a major milestone in the organization’s mission to empower citizens and eradicate poverty across Nigeria.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Dr. Sanusi expressed deep appreciation to all guests who came to commemorate the opening of the Abuja office, describing the event as a significant step toward expanding the Foundation’s impact nationwide.
She extended special gratitude to the Chairman of the organization, as well as the patrons, matrons, members, volunteers, and everyone who graced the occasion. Dr. Sanusi also acknowledged the unwavering support of international donors, partners, friends, and well-wishers, stating that the Foundation is “riding on their shoulders” to achieve its vision.
“We are sincerely grateful to everyone who has stood by us. Your presence here today and your continued support strengthen our resolve to do more for humanity,” she said.
Dr. Sanusi gave special recognition to Hon. Jim Okolo for taking time out of his busy schedule to attend the event, noting that his presence meant a great deal to the Foundation.
“It shows that we are on the right track and doing the right thing. This is why we continue to call on people who matter in this country to affiliate with us and partner with us,” she added.
Highlighting the core values of Oma Life Rescue Foundation, Dr. Sanusi emphasized employment creation, capacity building, and the promotion of better lives for citizens. She stressed that the Foundation goes beyond surface-level interventions, focusing instead on positive, long-term impact in the lives of individuals and communities.

“We don’t just aim to improve lives; we aim to transform them. Our super priority is poverty alleviation. Making poverty reduction our major focus is central to everything we do,” she stated.

Dr. Sanusi revealed that the Foundation currently runs skills acquisition and capacity-building programs in about seven states across Nigeria. Participants not only receive training but are also provided with starter packs to enable them to establish their own businesses and become self-reliant.
“This is not something we can do alone,” she noted. “We need the support of government, private individuals, corporate organizations, and development partners. With strong partnerships, we are confident that in the nearest future, we will contribute significantly to building a stronger and more inclusive economy.”

The commissioning of the Abuja office positions Oma Life Rescue Foundation for greater collaboration, broader reach, and increased impact as it continues its mission to empower citizens, reduce poverty, and improve livelihoods across the nation.
