The Executive Chairman of Jere Local Government Area, Hon. Inna Galadima, on Saturday, 13th December 2025, cast her vote at her polling unit as part of the local government elections in Borno State.

Speaking to journalists shortly after voting at the coalition center, Hon. Galadima expressed satisfaction with the turnout of voters, describing it as impressive despite the December period.

“We have come out en masse today to vote despite the season, and this clearly shows the love and support my people have for me,” she said. “They have demonstrated their confidence not only in me as chairman but also in our councillors and vice chairman, all under the platform of the APC. We thank God for this and we are very happy.”

Hon. Galadima reaffirmed her commitment to good governance, stating that her administration would continue to follow the developmental strides of Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, the Executive Governor of Borno State.

“We will follow in the footsteps of Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, who has done tremendously well for the people of Borno State across all sectors, including education, health, agriculture, and others,” she noted.

She highlighted the achievements recorded under her leadership, emphasizing that her administration understands the needs of the people at the grassroots.

“At the local government level, we have contributed significantly to the development of Jere LGA because we know the priorities of our people. We will continue to key into the Renewed Hope Agenda to ensure more dividends of democracy reach our communities,” she added.
