He explained that 500 officers have been assigned to each local government area to strengthen security presence and maintain law and order before, during, and after the election.
Mr. Okadigbo emphasized that there is a superb synergy among all sister security agencies, including the police, military, and other paramilitary organizations, to ensure smooth coordination and effective response to any security challenges that may arise.
He assured residents of the state of the NSCDC’s commitment to protecting lives, property, and critical national assets throughout the election period.

Mr. Okadigbo also issued a stern warning to individuals or groups planning to disrupt the peace during the election, urging them to have a rethink as the Corps will not tolerate any form of violence, intimidation, or misconduct.
