Abuja, Nigeria – The Renewed Hope Grassroot Movement held its official inauguration and maiden lecture recently at Merit House, Abuja, under the theme: “Continuity in Governance and Government Policies: Panacea to Sustainable Development in Nigeria.”
The event, which attracted a cross-section of grassroots mobilizers, political stakeholders, and supporters of the current administration, was aimed at consolidating support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and promoting continuity in governance as a critical factor for national development.
Speaking to journalists at the event, popular singer and advocate, Oge Sings, expressed her strong support for the movement and the administration of President Tinubu.
“We are here to set out a movement for President Tinubu and the Nigerian government. I chose to be part of the Renewed Hope Grassroot Movement to support PBAT’s continuity and give him a chance to finish what he has started,” she said.
She described the president’s efforts so far as commendable and emphasized the need for Nigerians to rally behind his developmental agenda.
“I am happy with what he is doing. He is trying his possible best to make Nigeria great,” she added.
Oge Sings also used the opportunity to encourage Nigerians to contribute individually to national progress by upholding law and order and demonstrating good citizenship.
“My message to Nigerians is that we should all work hard and stay positive. We know what to do as individuals to bring Nigeria to where we want it to be. If we all obey traffic rules and follow the law, I don’t think it will be difficult for this government to move the country forward. So, we should work on ourselves as individuals to make things right.”The Renewed Hope Grassroot Movement aims to foster civic responsibility, strengthen community engagement, and sustain the vision of the Tinubu administration through broad-based support at the grassroots level.
