Edo State First Lady Mrs Anani Okpebholo Praises Peaceful By-Election, Highlights Women Empowerment in Edo State.

The Coordinating First Lady of Edo State, Mrs. Anani Okpebholo, has commended the peaceful and free conduct of the recent senatorial district by-election. Speaking to journalists shortly after casting her vote, Mrs. Okpebholo described the electoral process as orderly and transparent.
“The election was peaceful and free, reflecting the commitment of our people to democratic values,” she said. “I am encouraged by the high turnout and the peaceful atmosphere at the polling units.”
Mrs. Okpebholo also took the opportunity to highlight the positive impact of women empowerment initiatives across the state. “The women of Edo State are truly benefiting from the empowerment programs. Many have been able to expand their businesses and improve their economic standing,” she noted.
She also said that no woman no nation that if you neglect a woman you loose elections and you know the power of a woman and that 50%of voters are wome,that edo central should vote for Hon joseph Ikpea as the senator representing the good people of the senatorial District.
The by-election, held amid high anticipation, saw a significant number of voters participate across the senatorial district. Observers described the process as smooth and without major incident.
