2027 ZAMFRA WEST SENATORIAL ELECTION: DR MAIKALU IBRAHIM BARAU VOWS TO UNSEAT SEN YARI , ACCUSES HIM OF FAILURE, INCOMPETENCE

While some serving political office holders are bracing up to recontest fresh notchers are equally nursing the ambition to unseat some serving old political folks.
Ìn zamfra state,it is no longer news that some of the old and serving political office holders may lose their political seats at the incoming General elections,what is however newszy ìs the heat been ignited with the aspirations of Dr maikalu ibrahim Barau, who is nursing the ambitions to unseat the present and serving senator for the zamfra west senatorial District,Sen Dr Abdullaziz yari Abubakar.
The battle for the race has already become more intense as both politicians belongs to the same political party,All progressive congress APC .sen yari came on board to represent the zone in the Red chamber of the national assembly in 2023.
According to Dr Barau , the zamfra west senatorial District is being short-changed interms of quality representation in the red hallowed chamber of the national assembly having sen Abdullaziz yari Abubakar as her representatives.
Speaking to some journalists recently in Talata mafara,the young and promising politicians,Dr Barau accused sen yari who was a former governor of Zamfra State between 2011-20219 of incompetence and malfeasance with regard to attracting and as well propagating progressive view-point and laws that will engender socio-economic development of the senatorial District. Instead of focussing on propageting on bills and motions that will help promote the human capital development of the senatorial District,Dr Barau avevred that sen,yari has rather focuse his attention to what he called "traditional politics "rather than "modern politics "
While "traditional politics "is been reffered to " Amala politics " or "Stomach infrastructure " in the countrys local political space the " modern politics " is rather more encompassing in all spheres of human capital development whicj trigger up the socio-economic gŕowth of the area concerned.
To Dr Barau the traditional politics been practised by sen yari is very retrogressive and is retarding the Developmental trajectory of the zamfra west senatorial District.
It is in this regard , according to Dr. Barau that he is been motivated and been also supported by many enlightened youths from the senatorial District that he is forging ahead to slug it out with the serving senator of the zone sen yari.
Considering himself as a game-changer, he averned that he hopes to change the narrative by pursing progressive view-points and propagating bills that will promote human capital development of his people, espcially the youths .
While further expressing his dissatisfaction on the part of sen yaris failure to address the myraid problems of unemployment and insecurity ravaging the senatorial zone and indeed the entire state, he revealed " i dont hear the vioce of my senator in respect of bringing about permanent change in the National assembly ".
